Home makes me think of comfort, ease, familiarity, and contentment. Los Angeles based Texan starlet Chelsea Lankes bundles me in plenty of soothing feels with her new pop gem, Home. It’s the first new track we’ve heard from the rising artist in over half a year, not counting her guest spot on RAC’s Can’t Forget You, but we slide back in with ease into Chelsea’s beautiful electronic pop with our welcoming ears. Time flies by fast, and I can’t believe talks of SXSW 2016 are filling up the air already, as it feels like just yesterday that I had the pleasure of catching two Chelsea Lankes sets at the annual event. As next year’s festivities approach, it’s obvious that Chelsea is likely going to be an “it” girl for the proceedings. She’s already being featured as a BCBG “GenGirl” and an EP is lined up for 2016 on B3SCI Records.
