'Love Is a Lonely Thing, Pt. 1' is the first of a three-chapter cinematic ballad in Fifi Rong's unique style of melancholic, downtempo avant pop drawing influences from Alt RnB, Dub, and Electronica with a light touch of Chinese flare hidden in Fifi's distinctive voice. Each chapter stands alone by themselves, yet all three add up together as one. L.I.A.L.T is the lead single setting the tone for the upcoming album, which can be imagined as a sonic parallel to art films by Wong Kar-Wai.
