Meg Myers - Lemon Eyes (StéLouse Remix)
I was insanely, wildly excited about this one the moment I set eyes on it. I’m a huge fan of Los Angeles based Tennessee native Meg Myers, whose recent debut album Sorry is a gripping, fierce compilation of Meg’s rousing music and fiery delivery. I love so many tracks off the album, and I’ve obssessed over many of its singles in the past already. My current favorite is Lemon Eyes, a sweet and sour aggro pop jam. Colorado based producer StéLouse dropped an official remix of Lemon Eyes today, and he does a magnificent job balancing the original’s rocking intensity with his own style of slicing, frenetic future bass and trap. I honestly would not have guessed such a remix of Lemon Eyes would come our way, but I’m eternally grateful it did.
