They constantly switch between different roles and genre in their music, their music is the creative source of their own life experiences, with moods ranging from anxiousness to tenderness, an angry clamor with occasional warmth. Unexpectedly, many overseas audiences have been becoming more and more interested in their music and they have been receiving a lot of attention globally. Manic Sheep has been opening for KYTE(UK) in 2012,The Album Leaf (US) in 2014, Neon Indian(US) in 2015 and also attended many famous festival, such as SXSW (US), NXNE(Canada), CMF (Canada), Clockenflap(HK), Fujirock(JP), MPF (TW) etc.

Tsushimamire is an alt-legendary Japanese all-girl band formed in 1999, featuring Mari (guitar, lead vocals), Yayoi (bass, background vocals), and recent addition Maiko (drums, background vocals), who has admirably stepped in to take the place of original band drummer Mizue. This is a fascinating and creative group which has mesmerized audiences around the world for years with its versatility (ranging from hard, thrashing punk sounds to interesting and innovative rock/art numbers). Mari's underground songwriting is brilliant, touching on subjects of social convention, rebellion, love, anxiety, and the power of the imagination, while her vocals excel in expressiveness, ranging from child-like innocence, to cries of despair. Yayoi keeps a wicked beat, and moves with the grace of a dancer/warrior/superhero, contributing to a live show that is simultaneously theatrical and earnest: certain to delight alt-rock fans and lovers of the Japanese underground wherever they may be found!
Over a period of 18 years, Tsushimamire has released 13 albums and given about 1800 shows all over the world. They have an inventory of approximately 150 original songs, featuring a wide variety of themes and styles. Their music has sometimes been used by TV shows, movies, and games.

Honeydew - I'll Be Around EP

Honeydew was formed by Chimp Beams guitarist K-Go (G/Vo) with Junko (B/Vo) and Riley (Ds) in Brooklyn, NY. In January 2009, K-Go and Junko restarted the band in Tokyo. After playing more than 30 shows, Rico Ambiru joined as a support drummer in Oct. 2010. The power trio has feel-good songs with catchy melodies and tight rhythms. Influenced by US indie sounds, they are often compared with 90′s grunge/ alternative rock bands. Honeydew can appeal to shoegaze and power pop fans as
well.

In 2011, Honeydew released their self-produced first full album “Don’t Know Where” (small finger records, sfr-009) which was mixed and mastered by Kidoh Taki, a sound engineer worked with Japanese underground legends like COALTAR OF THE DEEPERS, Tokusatsu (特撮) and others.
In 2015, Honeydew have released their 2nd full album “Time to Tell” (Water Valley Sounds, WVS-0001) co-produced by Hirotaka “Shimmy” Shimizu, a guitarist, producer known for being a tour member of Cornelius, Yoko Ono’s Plastic Band, Mi-Gu and other support roles. Shimmy mixed and mastered whole album including his guest appearance on “Powder Snow” where he shows his amazing and beautiful lead guitar skills. Cult rock star Ryuichiro Yunoki (EL-MALO) sang on “Highway Cowboy,” and played keyboards and portray iPad app. tricks on two other songs.
Currently, Honeydew mainly plays shows in Tokyo, and few small tours around Japan every year. They are working on new songs for future digital download releases in 2017, and hopefully a CD album to follow. Please check our music videos, check the songs. Freschard grew up in a farm in French Burgundy. She started organizing shows in the barn when she was about 12 years old. Aged 18 she moved to the big city, Paris, where she baked pies and cakes in a cafe. There, a local musician and regular customer called Andre Herman Dune wrote a few songs for her to sing. She called her first E.P. “Neon Orange”. Homeless in Paris, she saved up just enough money to get herself a ticket to New York.

There she found an old electric guitar and started writing her own material. She recorded her second e.p., "Shower Gel", with Mike Gomez on lapsteel guitar. With AHD and G. Lucas Crane she also formed a band called Back Up, and worked on poetical noise music. In 2004 she moved to Berlin, where she recorded her first LP, "Alien Duck", with a mix of electronic and acoustic sounds. Her second album, "Click Click", recorded in 2006, features a drummer (Leo Bear Creek), and electric guitars by Stanley Brinks. On her third album, “moonstone”, she plays the drums herself. She works as a sound engineer and records her friends' music. She also has a Calypso cover band with Stanley Brinks, called Kreuzberg Museum.

In between May 2018 and November 2018 (which was right after the completion of my previous album), I’ve made a bunch of raw and corny, country & pop-like songs. After a while, I feel like I don’t want to do things like that anymore, and such feeling has left me without an idea on how to deal with the those works. That’s why this little collection has comes to light now, to display this strange small gap in my production career.

Born in 1992, Tomii Chan is a Hong Kong singer-songwriter.
From his first funk band Tri-deuces (2013 – 2016) to the folk/alternative band Stranded Whale (since 2015), the background as a band member and once a pop session guitarist has helped to develop Tomii’s skills in music production and guitar playing, as well as other instruments like bass and keyboard.
Tomii has a wide spectrum of musical influences. On one hand, his enthusiasm in older blues and soul music like Lightnin’ Hopkins and The Chambers Brothers, as well as traditional American country music like Hank Williams, have given him a certain profoundness through his simple songwriting. On the other hand, his interests in indie rock acts such as Radiohead and Bells Atlas have provided grounds for him to produce some sophisticated and progressive works.
Tomii released his debut album “Arrays” in August 2017, a compilation-like album showcasing his multi-genres influence. The second album “Not A Good Day To Die” was released in May 2018, emphasizing on the styles of folk, blues, and country music. The second album was finished as a mostly DIY effort. Tomii recorded and mixed nearly all tracks for it and published limited copies of 200 CDs under his own label Grand View Records, selling them mostly in live shows.
Tomii Chan did a four stops Taiwan tour in January 2019, gaining a few more outside audiences along the way.

After performing as a member of She Talks Silence, Kawai began her solo project in 2015.
On her live set, she performs together with members of Cairophenomenos. The band was picked by international acts such as Le sera (US) and Patiences (US) to support their shows in Japan.
Especially in the current Tokyo indie music scene where those bands who share the similarity with the current western music scene are resurfacing, they are definitely a band worth watching for.
The current band members are Yojiro Suda (Mitsume), Rinkai (Cairophenomenons), Kai Murakami (I Saw Your Yesterday) and Tatsuki Hashimoto (Nag Ar Juna).
Her unique artworks and music video are all self-directed by Kawai herself. Also as an organizer of a periodical event called "NEWPLANET" at NEWPORT in Yoyogi Hachiman, she shows support to other solo female artists as well as holding events to focus on photography and music.

“tricot” is a Japanese alternative rock band formed in historical and cultural city Kyoto in Sep 1, 2010.
The band consists of 3 female founding members, Ikkyu Nakajima (vocals / guitar), Motoko “Motifour” Kida (guitar / backing vocals), and Hiromi “Hirohiro” Sagane (bass / backing vocals). Right after the current male drummer Kazutaka Komaki joined in May 2011, they established their own label, BAKURETSU RECORDS.

The band develops a very unique world with perfectly mixed elements of pure, fragile but strong vocals and unpredictable song transition. The band’s experimental music primarily consists of melodic post-rock-inspired sounds and complex rhythm reminiscent of math rock (although the members are not conscious of the music genre such as post rock or math rock).
Their live performance is far more vibrant and intense than you could expect from their cute appearances and is highly praised by fans and media. In 2012 and 2013, they performed at most major festivals in Japan such as ARABAKI ROCK FEST, FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, ROCK IN JAPAN, RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL, MONSTER baSH, WILD BUNCH FEST, SWEET LOVE SHOWER and so on.
In March 2014, they did two one-man shows at Akasaka Blitz, Tokyo and Umeda AKASO, Osaka. On March 27, Kazutaka Komaki (drum) left the band and tricot re-started their career with three founding members.
In February, 2014, 3 record labels in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia released the 1st album “T H E” and in March they toured around 5 countries in “What’s Ochansensu-Su!? tricot Asia Tour 2014”. They also performed at 4 major festivals in Europe and played as an opening act for Pixies in the UK in July. They are developing their music career all around the world.
