Railway Suicide Train - Continent
Four years after the release of “Yubo”, the Railway Suicide Train will bring their second album “Continent” in this summer. The new album contains seven songs created by the band from 2017 to 2019. It was recorded in GEBI studio in Yiwu in April 2020, and mastered by Josh Bonati.
The Railway Suicide Train is now composed of Shen Zhi, Xiao Qiang, Li Wen, and Dong He. The changes in the band itself and its music in the past four years are as indicated by the titles of the two albums: from “Yubo” to “Continent”, like from the gentle and undulating water to a solid and vast land.
In the existing new song performances, the changes in the scene of the Railway Suicide Train are also obvious to all. They have escaped the sweet trap of bitter Chinese pop songs, and have stepped into the exploration of experimental sound and artistic performance without hesitation, using images, installations and physical performance deconstructs the music scene.
