MOTHXR - Touch
It’s been nearly a year now since I first encountered and shared music by a Brooklyn band named MOTHXR, whose sleek synthpop and swooning retro groove lead me comparisons with the UK’s Jungle. MOTHXR returns today to deliver more of their simmering, sultry R&B and funky electronic pop with new single Touch. Along with the new track, MOTHXR also revealed that they have a debut album coming in 2016. Needless to say, I’m extremely excited by this news. I’ve marked MOTHXR one to watch since a year ago, and I stand by that decision firmly. MOTHXR will be playing the Corona Capital Festival in MExico City before hitting up Europe later this month.
