Erica Sklenars’ video combines D.I.Y. noir with a love for detail and a whisper of humor, while Julia Palm’s styling is thoughtful, imaginative and cool best of all. “Janina”, icy, assured and like the video enshrouded in a smoky mystery, is the newest single from Dunedin, New Zealand’s Élan Vital, just released and available from their Bandcamp page. The track is taken from their debut album Shadow Self, and that will arrive toward the end of this year.
