The Flavr Blue - Majesty
Seattle trio The Flavr Blue know how to do luxuriant R&B and slinky electronica right, as apparent on latest self produced single Majesty, an opulent seducer with bubbling futuristic elements. The smoldering piece is lushly fluid and intensely enveloping. Lead singer Hollis Wong-Wear’s sassy vocals have me reminiscing about AlunaGeorge and Little Dragon’s Yukimi Nagano. Majesty comes from the trio’s Love Notes EP, due out November 20th on Flavr Records.
