Sadao Watanabe - Sadao Watanabe 1961
Here is the very first album by legendary Japanese saxophone player Sadao Watanabe, released in 1961 on King Records. Born in 1933, Sadao Watanabe is a world-famous jazz musician playing alto saxophone, sopranino saxophone and flute. He moved to Tokyo after graduating from high school and then, in 1962, moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music. He has released more than 50 albums during his exceptional career.
Recorded on 15 & 16 August 1961 at Toshi Center Hall.
