ZZ Ward recently revealed the lead single off her forthcoming sophomore album This Means War, and LOVE 3X is now making the huge remix rounds. The latest talented act to tweak the tune is IHM electronic favorite Robert DeLong. He gives LOVE 3X a mind melting makeover that includes an abundance of his drum kit heavy syncopation, some heaving droopiness, and plenty of glitchy choppiness. The organic, dynamic remix has me picturing Robert at the helm of his mounds of corded equipment, drum sets, and joystick controls, brilliantly conducting and instrumenting orchestral electronic masterpieces. ZZ Ward’s new album, This Means War, will be releasing on September 18th.
