I can’t believe I only found out about Natasha Kmeto a week ago, thanks to her collaboration with TV On The Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe on Grind last week, but now that I’m initiated, I’m paying close attention to the latest developements from the Portland singer songwriter and producer. Today, she unleashed a spellbinding beauty named Your Girl, a slowly yet crisply flowing minimalist electronic pop song. An exquisite palette of woozy bass and sparse but ethereal synths are an enchanting bedrock for Natasha’s beautiful, breathy voice. Your Girl is deeply entrancing in a solemn yet atmospheric fashion.
