"Written and recorded under the stress of a pandemic but also a tidal shift in Korea, this is a little more grown up, less playful second album than their 18 track debut (Keep Drinking). Their politics are fiercer, they reflect on their outrage at the Nth Room Case, there is wider questioning of gender roles and the patriarchy as old views and assumptions are called out and tossed in the bin. Marriage License reflects a band who don't feel it's a time to mess about. They have honed their chops and know their targets."

Drinking Boys and Girls Choir are a Punk trio from Daegu City, Korea. Formed in 2013 when two drummers MJ and Meena shared a rehearsal space, decided to form a band. Meena switched to Bass and guitarist Bondu (who had just finished his military service) answered their ad. All three DBGC members write and sing in Korean and English making for a dynamic sonic range embracing hardcore, pop-punk and indie rock. Their songs tackle unreasonable governmental power, discrimination and the differences that cause schisms between people. Inspired by Sum41,
and Daegu's 90's/00's hardcore punk/indie-rock scene before it moved to Seoul, the band are very passionate about not moving to the capital and nurturing their home scene. In 2017 MJ suffered a motobike crash and the band took a hiatus for a year while awaiting her recovery.
The band signed to Damnably and Electric Muse who releaseed the 18 track debut album "Keep Drinking" on march 8th 2019. The band played SXSW 2019 then toured the UK on the 'Golden Week 2019' Tour with
& followed by show stealing appearences at SXSW, TGE, LSC, Pentaport, Busan International Rock Festival, Indie-Week, Zandari & MU:CON.
