The sound of this album is defined by its atmosphere.
Grunge, garage rock, and indie textures meet traditional Japanese elements.
A Japanese flute and other traditional sounds appear unexpectedly between distorted guitars and raw drums.
This contrast creates a fragile balance — rough and soft, distant and intimate.
It’s not purely Western rock, and not traditional Japanese music.
It lives somewhere in between, like a memory that doesn’t fully belong to one place.
The result is a unique vibe:
nostalgic, slightly surreal, and emotional — drifting between noise and silence.
These songs come from fragments of my life.
I started writing love letters when I was around 11 or 12. Before that, my parents in Russia sent me to dance school so I wouldn’t spend time with the wrong crowd in the high-rise blocks. There I met a girl — and shortly after, everything changed when we moved to Europe.
Later I wrote German rap, learned a little guitar at 20, made beats, experimented with electronic music, and eventually found inspiration in painting and in living abroad — including a year in Barcelona. Over time, I kept rewriting lyrics from different phases of my life.
When AI made it possible to shape music more freely, I finally found a voice for these sentimental and layered texts. The sound naturally drifted toward grunge, garage rock, and indie rock.
Each track captures a different emotional snapshot:
quiet conversations, imaginary letters, restless nights, small hopes, awkward honesty, and moments that sit somewhere between noise and calm.
This album isn’t meant to explain everything.
It’s meant to be felt.
Let the songs unfold slowly and interpret them in your own way.
