Sunhyun Yoo’s PLAiDE is an ambitious exploration of modern creative jazz, weaving acoustic warmth, synthesized textures, and ambient soundscapes into a cohesive narrative of sound and emotion. Released on Endectomorph Music, the album approaches composition as an evolving canvas rather than a fixed frame, examining how acoustic saxophone, analog synthesizers, and real-time electronic processing can fluidly reassign their roles to expand phrasing and sonic color—a contemporary continuation of modern jazz traditions blended with forward-thinking sound design.
