It’s Your Trip is an album about my first impressions of parenthood, written through the haze of postpartum. The album would ideally wax poetic on the messiness and beauty of being a new parent, if I had the time to. Instead, this is my succinct take on a new chapter and the (mostly) welcomed new identities that come along with it. Not all roses, not all doom and gloom. Much like everything Steady Holiday, it’s somewhere in between.
